Terms of Service

By using SnapAlert ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is a Telegram bot that monitors publicly accessible webpages for visual changes and notifies you via Telegram.

What the Service Does

SnapAlert periodically takes screenshots of URLs you provide, compares them to detect visual changes, and sends you Telegram notifications with before/after screenshots and an AI-generated summary of what changed.

Alpha Status

The Service is currently in alpha. It is provided free of charge with no guaranteed uptime, accuracy, or feature completeness. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We may reset data or modify limits as we develop the product.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Monitor pages you are not authorized to access
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
• Overload the Service with excessive requests or automated abuse

Free Tier Limits

• Up to 5 monitored URLs per account
• Up to 150 checks per month
• These limits may change as the Service evolves

Monitored Content

You are responsible for the URLs you submit. The Service takes screenshots of publicly accessible webpages — we do not control or endorse the content of those pages. Screenshots are stored for comparison purposes and may be processed by AI services as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or other reasons. Detection timing depends on check frequency and is not real-time.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed changes, false positives, delayed notifications, or any decisions you make based on the Service's output. Do not rely on SnapAlert as your sole source of information for time-critical or financial decisions.

Account and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or abuse the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time by removing your monitored URLs or blocking the bot on Telegram. Upon termination, we may delete your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via the bot or this page.
